You tried to show me a rainbow
I couldn't quite perceive
You said "It's right there Daddy! See!"
I followed your fingertip to the clouds
Studying hard, gazing deep.
"Where Josie? I don't see it"
You just turned to me and smiled
With assurance you said, "Don't worry
Daddy, it will come back. I promise"

We walked on, and I turned to look just one
more time. I smiled, because it was there.
I was walking with my little girl the other day and this incident actually happened. There was no rainbow that I could see, the first time. When I turned to look the second time, I felt like she had magical eyes, because it was there after all.

Its amazing how small children can sometimes see what we can't.
I think they do have magical eyes.
