My heart once again wants to touch
that place where we both resided
in such a harmony
that I had never known before,
but that place has been locked away
so deep inside~

no longer can the sun shine through
the darkness of feelings betrayed
and now my heart...

my heart pleads with me
to allow that door to be opened
again
to that place where love~

love was so innocent~

and my soul weeps      with longing
to find      that key
to unlock     that fear
and it whispers to our love
in gentle call~~

                    please, teach me....

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.

Ah girl...you pen poignancy so well...it is as deep and clear as a long hidden stream deep in the forest, and as green as the moss....lovely, lovely....there is always someone willing to teach, if someone is willing to learn....

This one is so full of a longing heart yearning to once again be set free from past pains.  Beautifully spoken and your line breaks add that slight pause that makes this whole verse just light up with sincerity.  It's as if one could almost hear you speaking it yourself while they close their eyes to read.  Well done and I can't imagine this one being ignored.  No indeed.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Donna, I know how you feel, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you but I know deep down the spirit of that child will always be in you and as long as you believe in it, that sweet little girl will always shine in your golden heart and deep down the innocence will always shine! (kiss on cheek) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Loner

Karilea, there is always room to learn dear friend.
I write how I feel.  I remember writing this way once
a long time ago and someone told me
"this isn't poetry, it's a touching letter"
well.....ya know...
I'm still writing letters.....lol....thanks hon.

Thank you Paul.

Well Mark, I have to think that even when we
speak the words, the heart has to hear them.
I read a quote once, forgive me for not remembering
the author, but it went something like this...
"forgiving is not forgetting,
it is letting go of the pain..."

forgiving is easy, but the pain...takes time ...time
is the healing element for us all...

Sorry all, I am rambling with my wandering thoughts again...
and then this.......is the end product...again...

Sven, Passions has taught me much,
and the friendships here..
the support here.....
is priceless...
thanks

You hold the key to your heart
This wonderful place where your feelings start

Don't keep them locked away
Share them with someone special every day

"Soul weeping", "Darkness", "Locked Away" These words ring false, even in verse, when used by someone as lovely as yourself. The humble jingler suggest that you seek out the joy in life..and verse.

Learning to trust love again is not always easy, but sometimes in the end, it's worth it.
Enjoyed the tenderness of this lovely poem.
