An Angel Glows
*

As though she wasn’t needed here
she’s taken right from under love
yet on this day the heavens sigh
with joy for she is now one of.

No reason can be seen from here
yet Angels have a new cherub
She lives again with dainty wings
She must now be sent off with love.

Seek heaven for your comfort now
for she will live in total bliss
With sorrow such to break your heart
Say sweet goodbye with one last kiss

I agree.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

My prayers go to your friends, and my prayers travel with the littlest one, who truly knew of her mother and father's love...tell them that...she knew....

How sad and touching, Sandra.  A lovely poem, surely written from a personal loss.
I am reminded (although I am not a Christian!) of a priests words to a friend who had just lost a baby girl.   "If you saw the most beautiful rose in a garden you had ever seen, wouldn't you pick it for yourself? - Well that is what God has done, she is with him) - personally, I can't go along with that, but the words just came to me as I read your lovely poem.

(sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Sandra, we never have the answers but I love asking him the questions don't you?  She is in a safe place, and this was a beautiful peace from your heart.

A lovely, but very sad tribute to a little cherub.
Your friend is definitely in my prayers, Sandra.

Sandra, this is so beautiful. There is such sadness when a child dies. Thankfully, I believe that God takes them home to His arms and surrounds them with angels.
We are all grieving....Hugs, Marti
