In welding two pieces together
Great care has to be taken as to not distort the piece
In the right technique

Free verse is like this
You take the right combination of words
Merging them in a bond of adhesion

In that finished poem the strength
To support its own weight
Must be assured in the minds of many

In creating artwork sometimes
You send out too many good things
And the effects get tarnished

In over abundance
What pieces do you send out?
And what pieces get buried
Maybe to be discovered sometime later

Some things will rust over time
For the effects are momentary abstractions
But most will vintage

So some sort of flexible vault
Has to be comprised so that some
Can enter to taste the offerings
Bringing in their own interpretations

Yet the idea of one person having
So much to say gets people upset
Especially when you do not comment on their work

But when your mind is developing at such a rate
That the thoughts are flooding out
The floodgates say to hold back
But the force behind it is storming out much too fast

So you try to divert it to different pools of reflections
For sooner than later you know you may dry up
And like an athlete the time for effect will diminish

So I must weld my pieces into a patchwork
Being careful as to not mass produce
More than is needed

Preventing a glut
Or worse to lose self respect
In my offerings

So I must create a garden of many verses
For those willing to reflect on their own thoughts
In the independence of them picking the right spot

But as I may have to post
Ignore the poet
He know not what he is doing
But just in love with his work

For those that put up with me thanks for I am just a mess!! Written in a rush to get to work that pays me. Blessings for a world were all can be heard with equal voices.

kind of like Joe's head? *chuckle*

You just keep getting them all down like this, m'friend!I know that more people read than the numbers imply--some times I just go "quiet" and read silently myself...so..write on, "poet-dude-mon"!
