Draw the Dark

Curl into shadows
Slip sweet into whispered sleep
Good night my baby

~*~

Rest in reverie
Dreams befit your countenance
Shadows see your smile

~*~

Shadows into curls
Sleep whispered in sweet slipping
Baby mine, night’s good

This is indeed in the heart of every Mother I am sure, as I know it is in mine.  Lovely.

And all this time I've just been saying, 'goodnight'.  Damn, I liked these!

ahhhh... like a blanket of lace dropped over a baby.. sweet and delicate all. This is just lovely, Sunshine

A nice poem for us aunties too! I'm already itching for some great-nieces or nephews.. I miss babies in the family. But I have a long wait (I'd better have - the oldest niece is only 15 LOL)
