Wisdom Keepers

~*Marge Tindal*~

Cascading down the mountain
from yesteryears ago
Where rivers ran with waters as clear
as the newly fallen snow~

In quest of wisdom from the past
I seek visions of the way
the forefathers walked so long ago
leaving moccasin prints of the day~

Into the clearing they come
Owl, Wolf, Eagle and Fawn
Messages from the ancient gifting
passed down to Native Ones~

Recorded by the hand of one
who wishes to see them survive
The legends that were meant to be shared
while the blood is still alive~

Quietly etched to pass to others
who are waiting for a sign
That peace will come again to live
in the valley where legends thrive~

~A *poetic gift of inspire* in return for your thoughtfulness~
Sweet Suthern ... I love you~
Thank you soooooo much~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Ahhh Marge ... a beautiful reminder of all that has passed ... and all the wisdom that has come through to us today. Very much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Marge,
I like this topic. Nature and wisdom and natives. All ingredients that are important. Nice touch. Thanks.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Legends do survive and you write so beautifully of it.
Ecohes of the past are still with us today. As it should be.

I have a torture session scheduled at the dentist's, so my online time this morning is very brief... but this title called me in... and I'll take this gift with me, held closely in my heart. *S*

I was hoping the "get well card" would cheer you and possibly wake Skyelara... and it seems it did. *S* This is beautiful, Marge... as are you. I love you, lady... and will be back to more fully appreciate this treasure later. *S* Big (gentle *G*) hugs!

No better gift shared than one from the heart and a stranger could tell that this one is exactly that.  Beautiful.

FriendsAll~
I simply cannot thank you enough for your lovely comments on this piece~

Since my injury it has been most difficult to get beyond the pain to let the thoughts flow into me ...  I have my dear friend, SuthernGal, to thank for sending me a *gift* that would not let the Spirits sleep~

I did not write this one ... it seeped from the wall where the Wisdom Keepers now hangs~

Somehow, by concentrating on the image, I was able to open myself up to let the awakened thoughts of SkyeLara run with poetic voice through my ink~

I thank the Maker of my understanding for the *gift* of SuthernGal's love and caring~
Love you hon~

Marge
I can do more than read this...I can feel it and see it right before my eyes!

"Into the clearing they come
Owl, Wolf, Eagle and Fawn

They're right there and the rest is so true!

I told you I'd be back. *S*

Margie gal, I think the idea was to give YOU a gift with my hopes that you'd heal quickly. *S* But you turned the tables on me and gave this gift I'll treasure. *S*

I thought I'd given the print away... but I read your words and I SEE. *S* Love you, I do. *S*

For teaching me how to listen... for always hearing my heart... thank you, Marge/SkyeLara. On your birthday, I'm thinking of the gift that was YOU.
