I flew myself to England for the perfect cuppa tea
In Alaska, I kept trying...never got it right, you see
I longed for all that flavour...traditional English fare
But more than that, I longed to sit and share it with you there!

A cuppa tea is relaxing, and even more so with a 'mate'
Especially when the brew is stirred by the loving hand of Fate
That's why I came to England...with you I had to be
And yes, you showed me how to brew that perfect cuppa tea!

(That's not the only reason I came here, but John brews a great cuppa tea!!!!!!!)

Open the door and let your adventure begin!!!

Well Darling, I am so glad that you came here to learn to how make a really good cup of tea, but the last time you damn Yanks had a tea party, we lost one of our colonies, which, in turn started the rot that lost us the British Empire.  So - to all you ex-Colonials who live on the other side of 'The Big Pond', I send this message to you guys  - come over here, and join your long lost cousins, as Sunny did, and learn to relax with a proper cup of English tea.
All my love,
HubbyJohn XXX

Perhaps you and John can make me a cup of tea one day.  Enjoyed, my friend!

Had to see where Eagleone's inspire came from and I am glad I did.  Truely enjoyed the read and thinking to myself that I need to try a cuppa tea once in awhile.

Hi Sunnyone!

Enjoyed your poem and had to line up with the rest of the tea tipplers to tell you!  You definitely inspired EagleOne to write another delightful poem.  I'm off for a cup of tea...
