come watch with me--
the majestic sun sets quietly
with never a whisper
of this day's secrets
slowly it sucks in its rays
and folds itself
into the soft green meadows
far beyond the wild flowers
and the age'd pines
coral tinted clouds
begin their evening serenade
speaking boldly of the
fireball's splendor...

oh, what have you seen today
     bright one...
be it beauty, be it death
     new life, love and laughter--
     have you seen it all
     in just one day...

soon we will live life again for you
     in the morrow
     but tonite we will sleep
     beneath a comforter of stars
     and God's own night-light...

will you come see with me--
we havent much time
the clouds are fading to pink
the splendid sun is yawning in color
and has but this whisper yet to utter--
          "until morning..." says he,
as he settles into the hillside
to dream...

...did you see!

I've always been around sweets.
Just off in my own space but always keep a watchful eye for your stuff. I like to read it aloud, it just seems to roll nicely off the tongue.

You may not get paid to write my friend, but this one proves that you should! This one is indeed a keeper, a wonderful write!

DGV, this is truly one of the most beautiful and descript sunsets I have ever had the pleasure to read.
Mother nature is blessed to be seen through your eyes.  Good to see your words again.

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.
