A Crazy Rant I must be crazy, I tell myself, he comes in, asks for dinner, returns me my plates. Dishes and silverware from three days ago, I must be crazy. I am, dontcha know? He left me awhile ago, for some younger thing, would stop in and tell me the new likes of his. I'd listen and say how can change be that quick no answer, just shrugging, as on food, he would pick... So tonight he stops in, says can you do my ears. I say what?? Can't you do them yourself this time? So I sigh and I follow him trimming those hairs, you know, the ones that grow faster in there. I must be crazy, HE wants the divorce, but he's living better, attention-wise mine. He gets all he had, when he lived here with me, except he can drink feeling now that he's free. Well he doesn't get that,  I know what you're thinking. I've locked that treasure, it's not his to find. I must be crazy, abnormal, some say, allowing his presence, interfering with mine. *forgive me this rant "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." A nicely written rant, if I may say so. I think that fella that painted some pictures - Van Cough (or some such name!) had an ex, and asked her to do the same, but she was not as silky soft as you dear lady. Kind thoughts, John XX Grass won't grow under feet that don't move. |
