Waving meadows
Winking flowers
Kissing butterflies
Soaring thoughts

Crashing waves
Ponderous thunder
Swarming wasps
Quizzical looks

Whispering breezes
Glasslike waters
Enveloping rainbows
Smiling heart

Lovers touching
Chemistry mingles
Nursing child
Deepening sight

Life holds us
Life pushes us away
But life is my mind
Having its way

Paul

I could write a gaggle of poems using some of the lines in this one.  Lovely thoughts you have been thinking, my friend.  Enjoyed!

This is a lovely poem of wonderful thoughts, Paul...but the title intrigued me.
I really thought it was going to be a poem about Rodin's statue of the guy sitting on the toilet, thinking with his fist under his chin
~ hugs for a great thinker

Lyra - well I may have pondered some of that stuff on a toilet - well you really didn't want to know that - guess this was an ode to thinking - thanks for your kind words - Paul
