Treasure

sirensun
enters the water
where diamonds
glisten
in day
sensual caressing
to waters surface
it falls
gently
in the bay
sinking
to the bottom
gems crush
by the pressure
of the tide
and slides
to the shore
forming grains
of sand
where you sit
by my side

Lovely Helen.  I love the sea and with I could be near it more often.  Your visions take me there.

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.

Crushed gems?

Topaz and emeralds
Rubies once held
Crushed to a rainbow
A glistening of sand
Lost in the washing
Scattered rinsing
Had to let them go
Rushing from our hand

just a brief thought,
Enjoyed your poem
