Faith

So young...this woman had been through so much
Through tears she cried...she yearned for a healing touch
Obstacles surmounted, one after the other, she had to climb mountains high
Looking for something more...constantly questioning why

Just by chance, she happened to come across these pages of blue
That's when poetry played it's part and I met all of you
At first I was unsure, just what parts of me should I share
How was I guaranteed that someone would even care

Slowly, I began to show parts of me
With time I opened up my heart, the angels of Passions setting me free
With that freedom, came tears...tears that fell like misty rain
A spiritual cleansing began though, releasing years of unlocked pain

A faith I never had, began to enter inside my soul
You all understood me, and bit by bit I became whole
My life still was full of chaos, but now I had a new belief in me
It took me time to recongise the new woman that I now see

Light took the place of darkness chasing it away
I realised faith was the answer to it all, and with me it stays
Turning my life to you and the Lord, I found a love that was true
Happiness filled my heart, replacing one that was blue

Finally now I have all I've ever wanted, and my pain is something from the past
I have a faith in life and myself now, something that will continue to last
Sometimes I glance back at the words I wrote from yesterday
I smile and feel pride in my heart, knowing that Passions helped pave the way

Thank you all...for your understanding and support. I never thought two years ago when I first came here, that I'd meet such wonderful people, but indeed I've been touched by Angels.

Love you all.
~Amy~

Lots, and lots of angels, Amy...and a true sense of healing in so many ways.  I've seen so many poets become more concise in their work, have gone on to discover new things about themselves...truly a wonderful place...and we owe it all to Ron...

Amy my dearest lil sis of my heart, your writing is always special you have a way of touching hearts and souls like no one else

Ever since we met, your words have always touched me, the more I came to know you the more touched I was. You have no idea how proud of you I am, I see what you have done, the pain you have borne, the obstacles you have surmounted and the way you have come shining through. And I applaud you and shout in such gladness to see you do so. You are home indeed darling heart and you enhance this isle of poetry’s delight, by your presence and your poetry. THANK YOU for coming here darling girl.

As for this utter delight as always darling heart I love it love it love it. The flow perfect the rhyme is wonderful and I love it

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
