Sprinkles Of Heartache
How I came to PiP’s challenge

Sprinkle some heartache that’s wrapped in pain
A handful of promise broken again
Toss in a kiss that lingered too long
Stir in a sonnet a soul’s wishful song
Add some wishes that dreams could come true
A struggle for love all shiny and new
Place this in a heart and mark it blue
And this is the heart that I brought to you

I opened my heart removed the pain
Shook out the creases and erased your name
I washed all the dreams in love’s dear sight
Then I hung them up all shimmering bright
I touched my soul with these pages blue
Then I found that my soul could fly anew
Those diamond tears that flowed ever on
Dried up one day they were suddenly gone

I started to crawl I learnt to run
My soul flying high into love’s warm sun
I found my soul which I’d packed away
Learned lessons again as I found my way
Yes, once or twice I stumbled for sure
But I stood up and walked proudly once more
In pain I came but I’ve found love’s light
With these pages of blue clearing soul’s sight

The sprinkling of pain that nailed my soul
Was washed all away and I was made whole
The pain that spoke my name is no more
My heart’s alive and my spirit can soar
Truth and trust keep me in love’s warm light
No darkness is here I’ve regained my sight
These pages of blue hold liberty
The circle of love found in poetry

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

One of these days I'll get around to my own...but for now, I'm learning a little more from the participating members...a day never goes by that I don't enjoy my Mushy...

(smiles) Oh Marsha, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, and we will always be here for you when you need someone to comfort you, for that is what friends are for and you are a delight to us all! (kiss on cheek) This is an excellent response, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Marsha, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

A touching story, Marsha. Isn't it amazing how much this place has come to mean to us?

My love,
when you write like this it makes my heart ache with joy. Do you know how proud I am of the way you've grown and learned to let go of your heartache.? Do you know how much your words inspire me? Do you know I could not have survived without your encouragement? If you don't you should. Thank you for coming to Passions, choosing me as a friend and pursuing me beyond myself to make whole my heart.*HuGS* my wonderful friend.

That poem reflects how I felt when I first came here. If I could never ever ever be able to post on passions again for my teacher to come back to life, I would. I swear upon the bible I would

Marsha...

my dearest sis...this brought both tears
to my eyes and a smile to my lips as I
nodded my head knowing...you have such
a beautiful heart and spirit and it has
been such an honor not only to be your
friend and sister, but to be able to
watch you overcome such obstacles and
to watch you grow in both life and love.
you are such a key to the love that flows
within these pages of blue and myself and
everyone else here at Passions are so
lucky to have you in our presence. I both
admire and respect you more than any
words could ever say. you are wonderful!
take care and remember...I love you!

~snap, whooosh, pulllllllll~
Thus is opened a can of UTTERLY's
used to describe this UTTERLY great story
of finding one's self in UTTER confusion,
and the solution at Passions that UTTERLY enthralled
and UTTERLY made the spirit soar!

~whewwww...with all those UTTER-LY's,
I feel like a spent cow!~

Jeff...that was a large can of utterlies.

Mushy - sweetie,
Awesome! Nobody is happier than me that you are here (except maybe Kethry). I pray you don't kill any more computers so that you might stay. But I have a question. Where and how does the wench fit into all of that? Hmmmmmmmm?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

MarshaLove~

You know I don't give a tinker's Puck HOW you got here ... I'm only thankful that you are !!

Of course I remember a sad little Melody who sang her little poetic heart out ... then the metamorphosis began ... and the wings of Marsha were fluttered~

Thank you for being here sweet lady !
Love n' hugs to you~

....and here comes the patriarch to show the youngsters how it's done! Mushy, you may not be able to picture your life without Passions but I certainly cannot picture Passions without you. You are a breath of fresh air. Krissy and Emma said the same thing. Well, they said "bag of wind" but I know that's what they meant

Wonderful writing, mushy one
