I wield the strength, the might of steel.
Physical pain, I barely feel.
I stand proud with iron will,
Knowing not the icy chill.

My speed is that of blinding light,
Bringing me agility to win the fight.
My fists are hard as carved out stone,
Strong enough to crush the bone.

It's not enough - my power's weak!
Against the heart my fists are meak.
And when this warrior's tired and old,
I can only rely on an angel's heart of gold.

So why should I wait? I know what I feel.
I know it'll take her heart to heal.
Her eyes filled with kindness and tender love,
I know she's my gift from God above.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

This is a tribute to the power of love. I especially like the feel in the first stanza.

No problem. To think a warrior like me could write such poetry...

Well Julie, you are the angel it speaks of. I figured you'd like it.

Powerful poem,
I liked the blend of strong and soft.

Very well done, Liam...
a nice balance of warrior and lover...
a little bit like sweet and sour or bittersweet.

Well, I have noticed that I have both warrior and lover in me.
