Another one from the dim recesses of my mind, and that I used to recite as a small child.

THE FLY AND THE FLEA
A fly and a flea were in a flue,
They were imprisoned, but what could they do?
Said the fly 'Let us flee!'
Said the flea 'Let us fly!'
So they flew through a flaw in the flue.

YAY!!! Oh my gosh, I love this, sweet friend, this is so very clever, it amazes me how when we are so young we can have such inspiring things we make up that become of such use later! (smiles) This is very entertaining, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet John thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah - you would be suprised at all the rubbish that is lying in those vast empty canyons of my mind!!!!
Thank you both for your responses.

Thank you - It may have been written elsewhere, gosh, who knows - I just remember having to stand in front of guests at my Mothers 'Coffee Mornings', from about the age of three, and having to recite or play the piano, or sing.   There I stood - all 'scrubbed up' for the occasion, with the confidence that was unaware and innocent - Oh, that we could regain that innocence....but this old man rambles on!!!
Thank you, and..
Kind thoughts
John

this sounds like a definite tongue-twister to me!!  There must be a moral in there somewhere, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it!!  Loved it, though!!

Open the door and let your adventure begin!!!
