We've Only Just Begun

I can be as romantic
as the next man can.
Deliver a dozen roses and
place gentle kisses
on a woman's hand.

But I would feel like
the worlds biggest jerk
if I failed to tell you
that building a relationship
is a lot of work.

Yes after the kisses
and after the fun
that's when you will
realize that you've
only just begun.

Takes a bumpy road to learn this smooth lesson but the bumps are there by design, to slow us down. Enjoyed
