Love-Touched

I am immersed in your Darkness,
harboring a love that keeps slipping.
Its aura, sometimes an illusion
unfolding from the shadows.
Over time I have crossed boundaries
moved by silence, confined by shattered dreams,
a love created in my mind,
caught within the portals of darkness,
stilled by the reflections of the past.

Under closed eyes, vast waves rock me,
whet my thoughts, possess my body,
anchoring me to remnants of you.
I am forever bound in fragments of time,
memories sweet, dimensions of two.

I am impressionable,
create within my heart and mind
that which rises and descends upon my days.
I am within a mist of light, glowing,
the after effects of wandering
through the deep recesses of my mind,
against night's darkness, as your silence
breathes new life into my world of words.

M

Who is to say that love is not but an illusion, one that we hold in our minds, and wish into existence...
This is so very exceptional, my friend, and I applaud you for sharing it with us here...

Open the door and let your adventure begin!!!

Maureen darling heart this is simply exquisite, I love it when your words are wrapped in such soft and delicate wings of wonder. Mmmmm this is just too delicious for words. And again you fly my mind into fairyland where dreams are sprinkled with starlight and moonlight is reflected back inside dreamers song.

How beautiful the flow and the ease of this delight and as always darling heart your words shine like no other. Do I love this? YES YES YES I love it utterly utterly utterly. Beautifully written and perfectly presented. As I said this is exquisite

I love the new photo it makes you look positively stunning, as I know you are. Your face darling heart reflect the beauty of your soul both of which are revealed in all the words you write and in this in particular. Beautiful darling heart utterly beautiful

Love and warm stuff

Maureen, this is so lovely and surreal, it reminded me strongly of the speech in Labyrinth. You know "through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered..." fabulous writing.

Just beautiful Maureen...it's hard to hold on and let go much less find that common ground.  Not to say that paradise doesn't exist, I guess it's a matter of getting on the right boat!

hey!
who is that fox in the photo???
Makes me want to be a hunting dawg

ok, smack...that was uncalled for (ribbin' ya)
but wanted to let you know how intelligently
presented this piece of master was.  Love
is a crumbling and rebuilding process at best,
but until they invent something to replace it.....*grin*

Take care, Maur,

I am speechless! That is one of the most beautifully written poems I have ever read. The words flowed, the poem flowed. The picure you painted with words never stumbled. It was beautiful. I'd offer a critique, but nothing worth mentioning was found in this much enjoyed piece.

Sincerely,
Titus

As I'm out there, walking, searching, for myself, for you.... won't you join me? Let's walk this journey together.
