Would you be able to find me tonight,
Given the new moon and all?
Within the unlimited ceiling,
You may see a glimpse of me
Racing around your peripheral...

These lines just amaze me--
They remind me of the first time
I saw you catch one of those breezes--
The kind that take my perception higher.

Could you find refuge in one of those
The same way I did?
Could you hang on to it throughout the night
Just like the fatigued hands of my fading resolve?

It was only the repeating refrain
That kept the completion widespread.
This outstanding release quickly found the road
That ends at the door to my frozen stamina,
Where it met me on the top step,
Handing me the rose of abandon--
The permission to leave behind
The inhibitions that hid me from your perusal.

I've given it all to the stars;
I've always wanted someone to take it.
Now I write of watching it fly away
And wonder where it's going.

But it's good to be opened;
It's liberating to fly around your soul,
Watching the waves crash onto shore
And refresh your ability to impart the tide.

When my heart aches,
I'll take a moment to find the side
And partake of your diamonds...

-kh '02

Hey , here...now you can stop harassing my life...   LOVE YA!

I want to wake up to the sound of waves
crashing on a brand new day;
keep the memory of your face
but wipe the pain away...

Harrassing seems to lead to some great poetry!  Much related to the 'wonder' of this.

How am I supposed to pick fave lines when you write about my fave subject?
Moon, Stars and Diamonds (neenur)
Well the imagery in this is just too cool...
the whole poem sparkles with star shine and promises kept. Of things to come ... of the contentment that is found when we trust ourself with-in the love of another.
I also love the depth of the self discovery this piece speaks of ...the self realization.

I just love the honesty and acceptance of this verse

I've given it all to the stars;
I've always wanted someone to take it.
Now I write of watching it fly away
And wonder where it's going.

Beautiful mix of images and emotion.
I'd tell you that someone inspires beautiful things in your pen..but thats already obvious in this jewel and....( his heads already much too big for his hat)
Now...about that "frozen stamina"
(turn off the fan and lose the ice pack frostybritches)
wakka wakka

You cant expect a moth to be good all the time can you???
Thanks for the view of the stars girlie. some of them were aquamarine and emerald

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much ...
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch.

When you gave me this the other night to read, I knew it had to be posted.  It is definitely one of your best.  You continue to grow in both your poetry and in yourself and I love watching every step you take.  The breezes you speak of me catching are always at your fingertips and if you reach out with open heart and soul and pull them in with a gentle touch, then you too will feel the comfort and insight they offer.  You are sooooooooo close to getting there, and I know that one day SOON you will and I will be there when you do.  You have developed a beautiful gift of imagery in your writing and you continue to take the thoughts of life and perspective to boundless ends in your works.  Realizing, learning, growing, sharing, and then teaching ... that is what life is all about and you showcase this well in your write.  Loved it and love you sweets.

ps.  Don't forget to take the BOXES!!!! LOL

Kris,

I knew I was in for a delight when I saw this title with your name next to it...I
must agree with the others who have replied
before me...your work has grown tremendously.
Constantly you are striving to be better,
and you continue to reach new goals and
the stars in both your writing and your life.
it's been an honor to be a part of some
of this journey. best wishes to you always
and i look forward to reading more magic
from your pen. for what it's worth kris...
i sit in both awe and envy. take care.
