Hated poetry in school
They always had a formula
Read what I had to
Wrote what they made me
Left it all behind and lived life and pondered
Wandering through the internet forest
I stopped to visit the site of an Enchantress
Smitten by poetry that invited me in as none had ever before
The Enchantress offered me friendship
And asked me if I ever wrote
I said no but her poetry was inviting me to try
I sat at the keyboard
Looked into my soul
There words and images were forming
I opened my soul to my fingers
And words appeared on the screen
I was amazed..
the real me was flowing through my fingers
They flew over the keyboard
I wrote and wrote and shared what I wrote
With the new friend I had made
She told me that the poems were good
She shared the Passions scene with me
I was wary to share but she told me I could dare
So I posted and found wonderful poetry and friends
I guess my soul had filled enough to share
And so here I am
Writing and sharing
On the PiP forums sites
Savoring all I read
Feeling compelled to write
Thanks to the Enchantress
And all the new friends I have at Passions

Dedicated to the Enchantress of Passions
Thanks Nancy!!

I must say, for someone that never wrote poetry, you do a pretty good job at it.

Isn't it amazing how one person can change your life? In this case just an open heart and an invitation to write, and now look..
Happy you are here.

it takes a special someone to make passions your home and you seem to be very special. You fit right in here.
