she sneaked softly away and settled
for a car seat and a folded jacket
but with her eyes closed she
could not maneuver, couldn’t help

visiting the present tenses
the blunders from behind
the future duties and all the might
have been forgotten’s...she struggled

seeking desperately to fall
off the edge but reality being
round, unfortunately has none
she tried sneaking in without

permission, focusing on anything but
the center of her attention
counting soft slow steps...one o’clock
came before she reached

oblivion

fascinating!!!
Some of the lines in here draw the reader with their extreme intrigue and originality.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

rofg...no mysteries here...I was just poetically trying to hide the fact that I am exhausted but got robbed of what could have been an hour of much needed sleep...rofg....glad you both enjoyed
