     For Tina;

Who'd have thought
in life's fourth quarter
where I'm livin',
that nature's laws
would make distant halves whole?

We weren't taught
when Newton's orders
were givin',
that Love could
gravitate two lonely souls.

Objects at rest
tend to stay at rest
and those in motion
maintain their way and speed.

Should have guessed
rhythms of the hidden breast
whose force, emotion
accelerate by need.

Last night I drew
my being
to your supple form
to renew
our passion, freeing
Love's rainstorm

and I knew
without seeing
that your face transformed
to a rosey glow
whose rapture
my heart warmed.

Strong magnetic pull
my hand,
your sublime silhouette,
Aurora Borealis
to my eyes,

nature rules
side by side with dreamland,
who would have bet
south of Dallas
lay northern sighs?

Very nice, and that last stanza...an EXCELLENT wind-up!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Richard

Where love is concerned...not all the laws of physics apply.  Enjoyed this, and the possitive feeling from it.

==================

I have been south of Dallas and I didn't find anything as beautiful as you describe.  You are blessed and your words show that you know it.  Much enjoyed.

I am in lifes 'fifth' quarter, I think!!, but what splendiferous lines you write.
I take one pace backwards to look upwards to you in awe!(and I am 6'3" tall)...You have the turn of phrase to woo the world, let alone your Tina.
Kind thoughts
John
