Spoken Soft and Tenderly

I was hurtin' for a long time
until she came my way
and said some magic words to me
that took my breath away.
Words that were soft and sincere.
Words of acceptance and healing
spoken loud and clear.
These words of which I had
waited so long to hear?
The words "I Love You"
now music to my ears.
I know not why it was so easy
for her to say these words
that meant so much to me.
That caught my attention.
That warmed my heart.
That set my spirit free.
These lovely words of love
from her sweet lips
spoken soft and
tenderly.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I am kind of going through a bittersweet experience right now where I love my Joanna so much and I wonder if she feels the same for me still because I want to make her the happiest girl she can be! Good poem Jamo...but stay away from those women....I've gotten gray hair since I first started foolin' with them females, (of course that was about 38 years ago?)
