Thoughts of you swirl around me in colored hues My soul deep in slumber, lays painted in blue Heart of mine, beats fast, remembering your face My hands search the bed, all I find is empty space I feel I'll go mad, because you aren't here with me I start screaming, willing myself to feel free All that comes is tears, tears that fall like rain Facing the darkness again, I am drowned by the pain I know the inevitable, though we love each other...is that enough Will you be the one to hold me, to show me the softness of your touch Or will the obstacles become too much, for either of us to climb anymore Instead we just will give up, facing the truth, and quietly closing the door Seasons change, and time can cast a light never seen Words get twisted around, what we say isn't always what we mean Before we know it, "I'm sorry" become words that don't mean much Always though, its you I want...in the middle of the night yearning for your touch The colors almost blind me now, as the sun sets for the day My mind overwhelmed by your essence, I then hear you say You tell me that you love me, and all is calm in my world for now And I know together we will be forever...someway...somehow "you can't stop |

Amy darling lil sis of my heart your writing is always superb and this is no exception. The tears you have cried have fallen like diamonds on these blue pages and glittering have illumed then with your beauty. Never will you run out of hope for it follows you and here in this sanctuary you will find soul’s ease. Always you shine darling girl and always your words stir the touch of love that lives still in us all. I love this utterly utterly it is beautiful and it’s presentation is perfect.
