It is a Time

Day woke with ailments of its own.
Bleached grass from summer’s heat
lay underfoot the man
with blood of tears.

Robbed of death,
he walks the shell-strewn beach.
The years ahead,
once were years dead,
but now they breathe.

Prayers,
like puzzle pieces,
righted what was wrong,
though often crippled thoughts remain.

Alone,
he sits in sand and thinks,
blinks back a tear,
lest it should call its friends.

There is no solace in solitude,
no peace
within fleshly temples
of once youthful hair.

It is a time to heal,
a time to feel,
but not a time to weep.
On humbled knees,
he prays.

Michael, how well you describe someone who has been through so much...
Came so close to death..and
pulled through by the power of prayer
and now gives humble thanks...
to our heavenly Father.
This is beautiful!

(big huggssssssss) Oh Michael, this made me crying reading this because I can be a cookie-cutter relative of this, for when I was little I was depressed all the time and thought of death so much but not too long ago I turned to God and I have been remaining close to this faith ever since! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, God Bless You, I wish the best for his healing and for future happiness, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

This is an excellent description of pain...
and I guess you are very familiar with pain, Michael......and you have written it so very very well.
~ lots of healing hugs
