Feeling Colours

Looking through an armoir,
unopened for some time,
I fingered the memories
of silks and satins,
smiling at the feelings' rise.

The colours of red and navy,
held together only by belt,
opening when on,
exposing just enough
to tantalize.

The blackness of sheer,
bought just for you,
to never be worn again,
buried along with the lace,
only pictured in mind
but never worn, saved
for that special moment
that never arrived.

Velvet trappings, burgundy delights,
a boost to my ego,
hanging there, running my hands
across the nap, loving
the memories, some day
to repeat.

The steel of blue, almost gray
a favorite though slight,
redressed thoughts
that have been layed aside.

Today touching the fabrics of loving,
enticing colours that mask
my losses of yesterday,
laying dormant, waiting
to enrich each tomorrow that comes.

Maureen hi there Thank goodness mum had Paul’s computer she could fall back on, I don’t know how she would have managed without it, or for that matter how I would have managed, if she could be trusted I’d lend her mine but she can’t she is death to anything that has circuits and electronics. Maybe now she will treat it a little better when it returns to her desk but who knows with mum.

Wonderful writing I’m so glad I got the opportunity to reply to you, you are one of my favourite writers and I always enjoy your writing, and this is exceptional, full of such beauty and depth. The thoughts this conjure are amazing

Love and warm stuff
As always
