I am helpless, lost in thought,
As to where my life will lead,
I only know I need you there,
To make my soul complete.

I'll hide these tears from your view,
And give as little as I can,
Just to ensure your happiness,
Isn't ruined by my demands.

I'll live here in this moment,
And let the time stand still,
Can I make this any easier?
Ask me...and I will.

Can I ask you just to hold me,
And feel me from inside,
To know that I can let you,
Move on with your life.

Would I be wrong to love you,
And let this get too deep,
Harboring deep inside,
All the tender dreams you weave.

Laced with imperfections,
I stand before you now,
Lost beyond amazement,
At the tenderness in your smile.

But I know I can not keep you,
I'd just stand in your way,
If you were meant to love me,
It will happen.............someday.

A heart can only truly break, once it learns to love completley.
