In writing this poem, I'm feeling depleted,
Hoping and praying it won't get deleted.
It doesn't concern sex or passion or hate,
Just making words rhyme as I try to relate.

It has little meaning, just a word here and there,
No thoughts or real meaning that I'm trying to share
Just some "BS" and words that may rhyme,
Just kind of writin' and wastin' my time.

I guess I could say I'm doing something,
But in reality, I'm writin' bout nothing.
But my paragraphs show it's written in verse,
If I put my mind to it, it'd probably be worse.

So if you're reading this poem,
Act like you're doing something,
And if someone asks what you're reading,
Just say, "Oh, it's just "NOTHING"...

The heck you say. *G* I've been caught up in nothing all day, just waiting for the chance to read your somethings... knowing that whether smiles or serious greet me, my reading pleasure is assured. *S*

I like this very much, dear friend. *S*

This is some nothing,
which I would see more of
if it came from you...

You know, being the blonde that I am,
I thought this meant something else (won't go into detial) ....
Then I realized that it is about the reply I made to a post earlier today. I think?
Oh I am so confused, it's not easy being blonde you know!

We need a dumb blonde smiley just for me
And so now, I sit here laughing again, at  NOTHING! Hehe

This is neat. For nothing. Well, if you think about it, I don't think nothing could be messy, could it? But, it's neat, anyway.

It reminds me of the Seinfeld shows...
remember...the show about nothing?
I guess now I can say that I've read a poem about nothing

GREAT JOB, Mr.Toe....
It takes a lot of talent to write a really good piece about nothing.

Hey, I am confused and I ain't even blonde.  The title says "Just Nothing (For Irie)" but I would imagine that if YOU were writing about nothing, then I thought it would be about Balladeer's and LongJohn's moments of intelligent discussions.  Oh well, I enjoyed the cadence and rhyme even though I was confused.

Nothing from Nothing leaves Nothing.
Ya gotta have something in order
to create like this.
