I feel like drowning
in a lake of unshed tears

My lungs… almost exploding
fighting for air

My eyes… still dry…
desperately searching
for the shore

Because it must be there

somewhere

i'd say climb into my boat, but i've been stuck in it on the middle of this lake for years....
