"Might I but live to see thee in
my touch, I'd say I had my eyes again"
-Shakespeare King Lear

"Love's tongue is in the eyes"
-Phineas Fletcher 1633

Not predatory eyes are these which seek you
but hunger for the vision of the grace
I find that underlies your perfect profile,
slivered smile, seduction of your face

Your brow, your nose demure (to my inspection)
exquisitely refined and petite,
upraised baton which starts the rhythm section
in chambered heart revived of it's beat

If overwhelmed I risk and fear your flight,
sweet bird without a nest whose song I dream at night,
In the newness of the forest that we are,
In the silence of the chorus of the stars,
I pray that you not flee my gentle footfall
But dally here with me lest we both miss natures call

Dear Friend,
I am sure you are not aware of what the word 'Pajero' means in Spanish, I have sent you an Email rather than tell all in the forum as it is rather 'naughty' - All the same, a nice caring, loving verse with gossamer wings flying to a loved one.
Kind thoughts
John

Dear Sir,
The word is Pajaro and being in Texas surrounded by Hispanics I would not dare misuse it. Thanks...I think.

That was so cute!  Considering I am only one of a few that know how many languages you speak and write fluently, and how darn smart you really are, I am laughing myself off this chair because I also know that he thought it was! Those darn  "a's" and "e's" get us every time don't they?

OOOoooooopps, Sorry - Yes, I did misread it, I have worked in Spain, many times, and only know the word, because the Spanish call me one, whenever I perform there!!!!
No harm meant, or intended, so apologies.  I am not too fluent in my spanish, but speak fluent Arabic, so perhaps Richard, I should write a poem in Arabic.  Salaam Ali Qum, Sedigi, Shukran!!! (Goodbye friend, and Thank You)
Kind thoughts, as always,
John.
