Chording

Struck and chimed
you called mine, mine,
then began the dance

chanced romance
glanced at lance
enhanced the stance

and struck the chord

‘twas heard, you know
that solemn blow
you’ve come to know

the chord

sweetest sound
swung round and bound
for eternity
by chemistry
through history

this chord

and then you laughed
for she had heard
courting sounds
through chording words

when you struck the chime
calling her mine, mine,
then began that dance

and took that chance.

What a wonderfully fresh subject...as a musician, I appreciate your usage of chords! This is a delight to read, my friend!

Open the door and let your adventure begin!!!

Soliel, this is an interesting subject and you wrote it so beautifully....
How wonderful to think that musical notes have feelings.
