All in the time
of two tide's flow
twixt the the tug of
Sun and Moon

Drifted alone a
bon homme des mots
from lagoon
to a damned monsoon

From firm a-shored
hoped footing sand
anchored faith
in Love

Rip tide torn
from a promised land
to depths
unheard of

Lose my wail
in the lashing gale,
drown my tears
in the sea

Or grab a pail
and begin to bail
from this
passing woe is me?

Thank you all, and in particular Lewis. I couldn't be more flattered that this was your first foray into this kind and gentle place. We all have ups and downs and writing helps me deal with it. Thanks.

Richard

Both my father and brother suffered from this...your poem reminds me of that time.  Hard for the sufferer as well as their loved ones.  Wishing you the best!
