If I should bleed a poet's drop of blood
Onto the page of life where I abide
Or if the words I bleed are silver shod
Reveal the heart or depth of soul inside
Then could my heart be blessed and knowing true
The blood of poets flows within my veins
My heart aware by flowing words made new
As poet's song goes forth in streets and lanes

Then would my heart be strong and sometimes blest
As poet's write returns me to my home
For poets' are a breed - a world apart
Where I can find a gentle place of rest
My poet's blood can cease the yearning roam
At home in words of poet's wandering heart

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Sometimes I think poets know each other instinctively...it's always a comfort to find, "one of our own", and it's always a treat to read YOU, Keth!

Hello Lynne

I could so relate to your wonderful words and I'm sure most others could too.  You have such a magical way with words.  I hope all is well in your world.

Keth,

You bleed poet's blood
You cry poet's tears
You cough poet's phlegm
Poetic wax is in your ears.

You sweat poet's sweat
You drink poet's beer
And all of this because
You are a poet, dear

Keth darling heart sister and shiner of the stars light how utterly utterly wonderful is this poem of yours, and there is no way it should have fallen so far so quickly, as always it is not a reflection of the quality of your writing it is the sheer weight of poems posted over it. It’s obvious darling heart your fan base is wide and healthy. Have I told you that you are an exceptional writer lately? Well you are, extremely so.

Now back to the poem the content is especially noteworthy Wonderful writing darling heart absolutely wonderful

I love the way you’re growing lately darling did I not tell you this copying styles was a great idea, you have got the feel of Rupert Brook here perfectly. Exquisite writing as always and I love it utterly utterly

Auntie Kethp hi there Finally I get the chance to get on here and reply, it’s a nightmare, mum should be shot at dawn, but I don’t expect that I could get the court to convict her. I don’t think computercide is actually recognised as the crime it is.

This is a really wonderful  piece of writing, the flow is exquisite you’re your writing really is exceptional, and this flows like a dream. Perfect form as well, if ever I think you cannot get any better you prove you can
