Gleam of light .

Rays of light shine forth from the sky,
Pocking through the dark and the gloom,
The rays of light are in my eye,
Suddenly everything’s in bloom;
Rose petals like your cherry lips,
Birds sing so sweetly like your speech,
My heart is doing turns and flips,
This beauty love to me does teach;
So when I gaze out at nature,
And see your face just smiling back,
I realize I have found a cure,
For all the thing’s I lack;
Rays of light shine forth from the sky,
The twinkle in your endless eye .

Not only beautiful, but amazing imagery.. an enchanting tale of wonderous feelings.  These things are what I dream of for myself one day...

Thank you all, you are so kind with your words ... The truth is that unfortunatly I can only dream of a love like this; something I have experienced once or twice but probably never again . I wanted to write a sonnet which is how I came to structure the poem like this, but in the end I realsised that my poetry has always been short line poetry so I stuck on 7 syllables a line instead of 10 .
As ever your replies are over wealmingly beautiful; thanks .
