A pair of lenses that I use to focus
spot rare earth samples, pick a crocus
notice some ice melting off the roof
glint at new channel sit-coms, spoofs.

I keep a mind's eye to see beyond table talk
to see tomorrow before today's night has struck
focus those lenses on new perspectives
away from Titian's nudes
onto abstract collectives...

Eyes continue to flicker in the night
albino ones have zero pigment, alright
they stare down to avoid direct contact
look unfliched as they face new contracts

myriad pairs of eyes with noctural vision
would sleep by day,
and hunt at night with decision
of the celestial eye that governs us all
does it watch amused when we reach downfalls?

Hey, you wanted it keeping up, I can do that; Loved the poem - especially the predatory last verse ... excellent . Thanks .

I see!

Very well done. What a compliment to the blue to have your touch of vision.

Thanks Tom Diamond and Cherrypop for keeping this up...guess I see humanity being squeezed under predatory talons.
