Tears that scatter far around,
Falling with such a silent sound,
So as not to bring attention,
To my ignorant soul's descretion,
         Of the way you make me feel.

Tonight the romance fades away,
Games my heart can't bare to play,
Fairytales can not condem,
Unless of course you believe in them,
     And so I'm choosing not to.

A flight beyond my broken wings,
Where destinys song I long to sing,
But place a resistance deep inside,
Knowing to many times I've cried,
      To ever let me love you.

Embers deep within a soul,
Burn like fire, soft and low,
But only I can make me whole,
To much pain I can not show,
     My soul is tired now.

I am so fragile beyond belief,
But strong enough to take the grief,
And let you move on with your life,
To someone who's heart is right,
    Without all the scars he gave me.

I excpected this to be the "glowing" poem...

but you have written perfectly of fear...which one? the fear to TRY AGAIN...hope you are just "in a mood" with this and that you know all the mushy stuff I've been poundin into your head for 18 years...
