Draw The Circle Ever-Wide
~*Marge Tindal*~

Stomp the rhythm of the night
Draw the circle ever-wide
Chant of cant in ancient calling
Invite of spirit to abide~

Lay the rune in stone's surround
Make ye' not a silent sound
Voice of legend comes to be
enters receptor port of me~

Gather tongues in vision's spread
Rake-of-soul from mountainous refrain
Let my ears be filled with wisdom
over and over again~

Grant me gift of feathering quill
So that I may pen at will
All the promises yet to be
poured within vessel of me~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

A nice, almost Native American, air. I like this.

You rang?

Have rattle--will travel!

You KNEW I was gonna jump all over this one!
You caught the spirit voice whispering in the rhythm here, mom!

Love this...oh yeah, it's been awhile, I'm READY!

Marge:  This has such an air of mystery about it.  Like secrets from the Pyramids or an incantation from a Maya temple. Really striking!

Friends~
Well, I definitely wasn't sure where this one came from ... all I can attest to is that I rounded the corner ... it stopped me in my tracks~

I 'think' it's the new muse, Blesaka, that has been skirting around looking for a place to lay his/her thoughts ... Hmmmmmm ?

Pilgrimage~
Thank you so much ...
Actually it felt a little 'Nordic or Mystic' to me ... not real sure yet where it's wanting to take me~

Serenity~
LOL ... heard that rattle~
It definitely came in a cadence ...
Couldn't help but think of those dudes that stomp around and make music with trash cans and things like that !  I am soooooo bad on names ....
That's how LOUD it came~
Thankee, gal~

Magnus~
Thank you so much~

Enchantress~
You just delight me with your enthusiasm~
*Hugs* with thanks~

BettyLou~
You sure read it right .. it's still a 'mystery' to me too~
Thank you VERY MUCH~

GentleSpirit~
Thank you sweet lady~

SuzieQ~
You know I appreciate you !

Very beautiful, Marge...
maybe it came from a past life about which you know nothing but this poem.....
at any rate...it is spectacular.

Marge, this is a SUPERB write!! I can't add anymore to those who have posted replies already, except that for some reason I felt pride while I was reading it. Just because you shared.

Margie girl darling sister of my heart, you have no conception of the difficulties I've had to surmount to leave a reply on this, it is a nightmare, however you are worth the supreme effort. This is such a magnificent penning of your spirit, always you write well, and so often you write brilliantly, never more so than when your spirit walks with the spirits of your heritage. Wonderful writing darling heart utterly utterly wonderful

Love and warm stuff
As always

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

It's very appropriate that each verse begins with a command... for the rhythm in this makes one sit up and take notice! *S* Excellent work, gal!
