Prince?

There was a prince who was a frog
For sure he was a down right hog.
He wore a cloak of blinding wool
And even kept the three bags full.

He took for granted all in sight
Even the phantoms of his night
He used his gifts in willful need
Without the slightest thought for deed

Used his power with awesome ease
And never fell upon his knees
Thought he owned the sun the sky
He even thought that he could fly.

And one day stood upon the roof
To show his subjects living proof
And called out loud to see him fly
Spread his arms and said goodbye.

And he flew for the briefest time
And now he’s known as prince sublime.

I wonder that anyone will see the deep
in this well-written poem, Sy....your
constant readers will, I know...

Good morning, our Sy...

sometimes it's good to read you very slow
just to see where your mind goes...

I wonder.... do frogs think... that a prince is a frog in disguise...

I enjoyed this poem!

Giving 30 percent,  taking 70....and taking
everything for granted.  With the outward
appearance of a prince...the inward feeling
of a frog....  SPLAT goes the frog prince
when the lilly pad crumbles....

Thanx for your wise messages....as always..

My Stinkylove had wisdom rice and morale eggs for breakfast me thinks!
Thy frog was a Prince of Fools and a King of Pain. He should have read your poetry, then he would have known how to fly

Good morning Sy-babers...Happy 4th ...
tell Randy to fly low tonite..wouldnt want his tail to get scorched.
Enjoy your holiday and company.

BRAVO!!! Oh Seymour, I think I can see what you mean here, sweet friend, arrogance and vanity leads to the downfall in someone always whereas charity and loving what you have only makes you happier! (sigh) You detail this so well, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You made me do this....

There was a prince, a prince of fools
who lived apart from the golden rules
He smiled and joked so happily
yet inside him, you could not see.

For in the heart of stone this prince
who gave to all but not one pence.
And took so hungrily from them all
till one day in crumble he did fall.

The prince of fools, was seen to be
far less princely, so devilishly
His stature high upon his log
seen to be but only a fool and a frog.

Wisdom rice and morale eggs
Now isnt that a dainty dish
To set before the king.
Randy will be with me tonight I think on Peppers boat seeing the fire works.
I'll write you and let you know how it was.

Seymourdarling heart and bringer of the sun’s light this is absolutely fabulous your writing content and style consistently superb and this is as always absolutely perfect. Your writing always brings me the feeling that my soul has been washed by your wondrous words of beauty. And today dipped into a bath of wisdom and morale as well

Your mind frolics in wisdom and I delight in it, no one does it like you darling heart, combines wisdom and creativity with such style and grace.

I only stopped in to pick up some mail but had to pop in to read you, I’ll be back later to read and reply to others, but for right now I’m off to stroll beside the river. Ciao xxxxx

Incredible wisdom Seymour darling boy, absolutely amazing write.

I didn't think it was possible to love your poems more than I did last week... but now I hear your voice as I read... and every word is even more treasured. *S*

This is wonderful, Seymour... and written by a true prince... no question about it. *S*
