Truly, truly am I blessed.
So now a prayer of thankfulness.
Wondrous love in plentitude,
I think it's time for gratitude...

"Tie a string around your toe,
lest you float away!"
Advice that soothed me as aloe.
Sharon? I send my love your way.

And a childhood fantasy
came true via Janet Marie.
A twin in her, as she is me.
Janet? Butterflies are free.
And yes you ARE a butterfly!
I'm honored you're a friend of mine.

My doreen, is such a dream
she cracks me up--she makes me scream.
Her words outpour tell EVERYTHING--
her thoughts, my heart in flow of stream.

Marge is the echo of my heart.
Methinks she knows my every thought.
Never has she missed a beat
and sweetly wiped tears from my cheek.

Nan is there to take my hand.
I was surprised to find her there.
I thought of her as distant queen,
yet she's constant breath of air.

Luscious, lovely, sweet Maree,
always has been there for me,
and Kamla is my sanity...
like feeling ground beneath my feet.

Karilea's lovely name
sang to me a sweet refrain
She see things in different light--
truly she is sun's shine bright.

Mrs. Santos is gift divine.
Ambrosia is the best describe.
I gobble up her every rhyme
and every poem? A sublime dine.

Martie, be another gift...
her words are as the sands in shift.
Her pen, like mine, writes ink of blood--
she writes with wisdom from above.

Mysteria, is ME again...
made me believe I can be friends...
with inner spirit that I war
a lesson of what life is FOR.

Alicia is a whisper's shout.
Her talent sparks my inner doubts.
I read the words she blithely pens
and swear I'll never write again.

Temptress, she amazes me
how can soft intensely be?
And after reading angrybraids,
I swear I'll never see the same.

Sandra croons the saddest tunes--
I fear she feels the pain, like me...
catalinamoon--ARISE--
and cast your glory on the sea...

Sea, is sparkling full of hope,
and constant with the pull of tide--
each wave another splash of brave
in salt of all the tears she's cried.

Regina, Krista, Honeybee...
each one of you a part of me.
Greeneyes gaze delicately.
Kit has generosity.
She sees more clearly than me.

A lonely wolf made friends with me.
She frightened me. I thought me, MEAL.
But as the lion's paw with thorn,
We found solace in forlorn.

Paula, my sweet lovely friend...
Happiness should do her in!
Patience in humanity--
I'm glad she waited up for me.

Elizabeth did strike a chord...
harmonies of inner core
I know the pain was ill afford,
but thank you so...my Miss Corr!

The face that launched a thousand ships...
Helen, gives men dreams of kiss.
How I miss my meadowmuse,
and fyre of sky sings perfect tune.

Devina? I can "lean on her"--
a mischief, sweet--a kitten's purr.
Irie be an "imp"--like me-
she is bells upon my feet.

Enchantress is a spell uncast,
as sister of the future's past.
suthern knows my ways of south--
she forgives my wayward mouth!

Nic, she made me hug myself.
Her kindness made me forget hell.
Keth is "solid"--just like me?
a sister of serenity.

Titia gave to me a lamb,
and the warmth of friendship's hand.
Midnitesun's sincerity
is proof that love can set you free.

Maureen with grace of dancer's stance,
each word heard just screams romance,
and if your name is not found here,
know that in my heart you're near.

Each face of Goddess does reside
and all of you be Passion's pride.

Martie, Sharon, Kari? A quick thank you as I have to go "marinate some meat!"   But I wanted to express my appreciation to all of my "girls"---when I get in my dark moods, you are always there for me, and I do appreciate it SO much! Be back later!

And hey? eric? I've been hanging out with the guys too, most of my life, so? I'll have to work on something, for my "brothers" here!

my cafe? missed you in passing, but thank you! I'll be reading you soon...

Hugs!

Serenity darling girl I could just say something short like this is good writing? Noooooooooooo of course not, because it’s not good writing, it’s stunningly fabulous writing. YOU are a superb writer my friend and this is utterly stunning in its beauty.

I couldn’t put it better myself, they are a wonderful bunch of poets

k...surprised and honored to be in the club
and I am just a stroke away…
no matter what the sheriff’s menu of me plays
has me up and working nights
but for a writing vampire…seems just right
a shift that hold me 12 hours
but come to visit when I can to pick perfect word flowers
and I think these petals are quite tender
and my lunch is almost over so back to work I surrender

Hey ladies...just my way of a "toast" to you, and there are so many others, I have yet to mention--please know just because the name is not there, doesn't mean it is not engraved on my heart!

and Dunc and eric? I'm thinking on that poem--I had to do this little celebration thing today--which is still in progress--tsk to me for being rude...I'll be back...packing verses!

thanks again, to all.

serenity,
I loved the poem and the tribute - but when you said "solid" you didn't mean "fat" did you? I am but I don't like people to notice. Or did you mean solid as in "thick as a brick" for I am that too but I try to hide it. lol
Thanks for including me I loved it all including the description of me. I'm a solid citizen.

EEK! You mean I am a witch?  Nah!  You are to darn sweet and if you meant I was a witch you meant I was a sweet witch like you.  You dear friend are a jewel in my friendship crown that shines ever so bright and BABY, have you come a long way!  The war I think is over, tend to those flowers and marigolds of yours and watch that beautiful smile shine forth like I am smiling now.  I feel honored, thank you.

if you could come here and say this

quote:
My doreen, is such a dream
she cracks me up--she makes me scream.

to me in person...
(which, btw, you are
unconditionally invited
with or without a sock),
then i'd probably have to look up at you
with awe and somehow demonstrate
the tightness we share just so we could feel
the dichotomy or harpo and lucy who were there... hehe

but hey, by the way...
could you call me today
or tomorrow? is there anything
i could say to make the story cause
a ring of a connection to reverberate?
what part of this is early? what part is late?
do you think i'm flirting with you?
would you like me to continue?
take off your sock
and send it to me.
i might consider this
possibility but i must
adjust with the fluffling up
of leaves me alone to the tonic
in the glass

the sound
of a metronome
can cast a vision
of shadow on the lawn.

there is nothing about you
which will ever make me yawn!
no boredom here, my frend,
but if you'd like
we could take a hike
to the shenendoah for an explore
of the countryside and you might just like
it and what's more than that, you might
even fight for a vantage point from the corner.

mourners have their histroy.
could be her or her or me,
what a pain to cry!!

kiss me quick! i see your eye
directly in the vantage point of mine
and you are beautiful and gracious!!
whaddya mean i'm blind!
that's hellacious! i see you so clear
my soul might just be lucidly, intrucively
stating that i wish you had no fear
because it's rather stupid to do so

let's go!
i found the sock.
sit up front with me.
