Though it is the radiance
existent only within your soul
that will be guiding me
through the paths of my journey
to help me find my way
By myself I have to reach a
certain point in my life
I just want you to know
my beautiful shining star
how much I'll be missing you
throughout every single day

This is a poem to remember
so you will never forget
how special you are in my eyes
All I desire is to love you
and honor our cherished memories
but now the time has come
to say our goodbyes

Each day we are apart
another of my tears will fall
Each night when I dream
your voice I'll hear in song
Each time I open my arms
your warmth will still surround me
It is all I can do to wish that
you had been there all along

You are an angelic presence
that will never fade and die
I am hoping you will forgive me
as I turn around and walk away
God will be watching over you
until the moment that I return
I love you beyond imagination
in your heart my destinies now lay

Staring into the sun just makes you blind to what beauty actually exists in the sky.

Hello Paul

Your words were truly wonderful and I could feel the love and longing in each verse.  I'll look forward to reading more of your work.

Take care.....Sue

I am thinking this would be a poem someone I know in person would send to me if they read. I enjoyed this despite its sadness.

Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion.

I appreciate your nice response ethome, I
went on vacation a few weeks ago and had
plenty of time to write a new poem, I am
glad all of you enjoyed it.
