The Island

Each an Island unto oneself
Wishing the world of dreamers bliss
Dancing in wile a phantoms elf
Waiting for eternities kiss.

And we bloom just like a flower
We raise our faces to the sun
And make the best of every hour
Until our last of time is done

A garland thrown into vortex
Each separate one a piece of rhyme
Woven by the needle sex
And placed upon the sands of time.

Wherein each grain passes through
A cylinder of daily wears
Where eyes shine back the mirrors view
And turns again to count the fares

You have dialed the eternity wheel
And will be charged without appeal.

YOU ARE SO COOL!!!!!
You say these come harder and harder for you...yet look at what you come up with!!

Look at these lines... at the imagery...the metaphor and analogy...the wit and wisdom...
the irony and the impact....those closing couplets are so clever and cool..SO CLASSIC YOU!! The whole theme of this is classic Sy-babers poetry...and as always rhyme divine.
I do so love the way your poetic mind works...and though you will say differently...it WORKS damn fine...your pen proves it every time

JM,
The top of the morn to you dear Tinkerbell.
You must be having honey for breakfast, for some of it spilled over on me. Just imagine two roses for you. One from Randy and one from me. Winkiewinkie Randy Stinky.
