Rock The Cradle Of Regret
~*Marge Tindal*~

Rock the cradle of regret
in lullabye of sigh-sung-blue
Hold me in the bough of tender
until my tears are through~

Blow the winds of soft-remember
gently through my heart
Caress me with the treasured moments
before we had to part~

Keep me ever-mindful
of sweet memories left behind
Rock the cradle of regret
forever in my mind~

~It's supposed to get easier ... but it hasn't yet~
In loving memory of my little brother,
David Michael Cowart
June 20, 1946 - July 3, 1980

Marge

How well I know about how anniversaries creep up and hit you with remember.  But I figured out it's a good thing because some things you never want to forget.

Margie girl darling sister of my heart and collector of heart’s tears this is simply exquisite writing your ability to write of the depth of feelings is incredible. I truly love this diamond of memories and emotion from you. You have an amazing ability to write with such clarity. And this had me utterly entranced by your writing

As always darling heart you excel and I love it I love it utterly utterly. This is superb writing darling girl, you’ve managed to show with this the way he lives ever on. Love and light darling heart, take care of you and know you are in my thoughts.

((((hugs)))))) and soft memories of someone very very special

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Marge:  When those sad anniversary days roll around, it brings everything that happened right back, for you to face all over again, I know. This is a beautiful poem.

This is so innocently sad. I like the emotion you put behind this Marge. I can feel it.

This is such a beautiful and flowing piece Marge. The phrasing is melodic, and the depth of emotion it brings forth is so very powerful. Hugs to you on this anniversary of remembrance for your brother ... truly lovely ...

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

this is lovely...so many delicate phrases to wrap his memory in rhyme. You do him just with your tender renders.

This is so beautiful, Marge. Memories are so painful, sometimes. I know. My brother died the same year as your did. He was 26 years old. He died a month before his birthday. I have found myself thinking about him a whole lot recently. His birthday was in May. I miss him so much. The tears just come each time I think of him. I understand what you are going through. *BIG HUGS*

Perhaps that old adage about time making things easier just means that the intense, overwhelming pain eventually stops accompanying our every breath. *S* But the days of remember still hurt... memories bring both comfort and grief.

This is painfully beautiful. *S*

Dearest Friends~
You have felt the tears from my heart fall in poeticized need ... I thank you all for the tenderness you've bestowed during this time of rememberance for me~

The missing seems to fall harder this year ... and I'm not certain why ... but I've needed the time to process it all~

I so appreciate each of you~

Mike-in-spirit came to sit with me last evening and I found comfort in that ... very much so~

The sun came out to shine brightly today, ... first time in 19 days ... surely that must be a sign of change~
Long overdue~

Love and *hugs* to you all ...
Please have a safe and happy July 4th celebration~
