In the fading light

Within a dark room
beneath drawn curtains
upon an old chair
sits an aging man
in fading sunlight
begins the torture
no break in silence
as time stands still
under the grey mist
a life that once shined
but in these days
no breath disturbs the air

"Pretend inferiority and encourage his arrogance."

Sun Tzu

Unfortunately this is so very sad but true. This is a well thought and written piece, I enjoyed it.

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.
