In the heat of summer Two people changed vows, Femme Fatale gained a brother. I gained a sister somehow. In purusing some verses Long forgotten in dust She gave muse's curses And begged me I must, Write a few lines, A verse here and there, To help pass the time With new sister, ma chere. But on writing the first I found to my glee What I thought was the worst Brought new friends to me. And here my friends are Both old and new Sharing their art With us lucky few. Chivalry is not dead. I saw it coughing up lung butter last night, but it was still alive. I think it has parvo. |
