Here they are the newly weds so very much in love see how he holds her tenderly while they walk their path his arm around her shoulders guiding her so carefully “Look out my love there lays a stone!” see how lovingly he leads her away from the stone so very much in love… A couple of years later still they are in love but some of the magic has disappeared somehow… oh yes he holds her still by the hand this time and warns her: “Step aside my dear don’t trip over that stone!” while his mind is somewhere else… Many years have passed since then are they still in love? lets follow them again along the same old road this time no arm around her shoulders not even holding hands just when she thinks: “What happened to us?” She trips over the stone ……………………….!!! She brushes of the dust from her injured knees while he doesn’t even look at her and instead of offering her a helping hand he shoots his sharp words: “Can’t you use your eyes???” “Woman…What’s wrong with you???” With brimming eyes and a bleeding heart she only wonders… how can just a simple stone… hurt you so much…. sad but common ending, I'm afraid..common ending as far as a relationship I mean..at least that is how i'm looking at it these days.  Your wisdom words are welcome here, Sweet Lady. I enjoyed this. How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so. |

Just a Simple Stone... the analogy is wonderful... it basically says, "Look out for yourself..." Well done, Neeraja... |
