The man I love beside me now Knows how I think and how I feel Deep down; all the secret parts Of me that no one else can see he sees And everything I am he feels From anger sorrow joy and jest He sees the best in me Knows the sentiments that shape All the moments that escape What it feels to be with me Here I stand emotions bared Clutching love that we once shared Envisioning what could have been If fate had never twisted love Between the two of us |
