He stood
there alone
naked of mind, vulnerable
so afraid to say
to tell "it"
to you

You told him
without ever saying a word
through your eyes
your smile

His courage
carried on wings of time
wings of tarnished silver and gold
feathers astray ever so much
but strong of heart
of soul

Afraid to say it.
“It” haunted him so
It controlled
It was him

From him grew
the mighty redwood
standing tall among the fires of hell
staring “It” in the face
winning, once again.

Whispering thank you
to the brightness shining
through mighty limbs...
He lives as she smiles

(smiles) Oh my gosh, I just know the one you speak of in this write will be so delighted when he reads this, you are such a wonderful friend to us all and I know you are one of the main reasons he smiles everyday having a loving friend such as you! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You've touched on the goodness of relationships, Magnus...
some things can just go without saying...

that's where understanding comes from...

Whispering thank you
to the brightness shining
through mighty limbs...
He lives as she smiles

And I smiled as I read especially this verse.  To live as she smiles...what more can we ask?

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely and complete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me

Noah, true friendship and understanding through hardships and believing,  knowing
that they are there, that they see the soul
as never seen or felt before...  knowing
that sometimes just understanding means a
great deal...means more than life itself..

Karilea,  this was my way of expressing
thanx to a friend who understood,  who
listened,  who knows and who will always
be that true friend in my heart.  Through
good times...and through the trials of
life lived and life being lived...

When one has overcome adversity and seen
the smile of a friend...who understands..

What greater gift...than life itself...

Thanx Duncan...

Magnus darling heart and keeper of the nights silvered light, Thank you for posting this burst of beauteous light, a heart lifting soul washing dream of wonder. It flows through my heart like liquid light, perfect darling heart utterly utterly perfect.

What a wonderful gift to a very dear friend, and you are a wonderful friend to have conceived this fabulous poem I love it utterly utterly

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Barry

Heart penned, heart felt by this reader.  Friends should be just that..you are lucky, and I suspect, so is she.

Mushy, darling girl...the friendship of
understanding,  of caring enough to know
when a heart carries the trust of another.
Even as we stand before the gate... is
a blessing...  thank you...

Martie,  yes and yes!!  I am truly blessed
to have several friends who have this quality
within...  And this is my way of saying
thank you...to one that has shown me a great
deal of support during a moment of my life
that has been somewhat difficult....
