On A Journey To The Unknown

I can feel the sunshine
Coming through the window
As I sit here thinking
About the love you showed

It has been so long now
Since I felt your embrace
When you made my heart beat
As if it was in a race

I question love once felt
To find if it was real
No longer am I aware
Of how I really feel

It has been so long since
I felt your gentle touch
I forgot how it felt
You loving me so much

So many memories
Of how it use to be
Not knowing what went wrong
Or if you still love me

Love has no conditions
It seems as if yours does
My love for you is true
And it is just because

This is very excellent, Sue...pardon the grammatical mistake....very excellent are 2 superlatives, but its the only way I can describe your poem....
Very excellent, indeed!

Love is a hard one to explain but a true love will find a way to endure.  Very nice write and I hope he realizes the gift he has in his grasp.
