Behind My Rain Gray skies outlined every inch of a day gone bad Clouds in recognition of a mourners plea Then, in the middle of my quiet storm here inside A little light was envisioned for me... I never knew through the darkness I'd find my way And, to what could be gained for this sadness I have Then, I realized that behind my rain lies his sun And, for our time apart life was just giving back... We have to brake for a little guidance to follow Must cease a short while for assurance to be heard Cause, in the middle of a prayer for my angels arms I became lighter just repeating my words... I then thanked the heavens for the loneliness I felt Gave praise to my most propounding ache For, the distance between him and I this night Was allowing him to view a much brighter place... For, without me, night sheds a whole new color I lift my hands to that moon he's resting in awesome light Just sigh to the certainty the miles are providing him with And, thank the stars for shining sweetly in a dreamers sight... I thanked the rain for being all mine these days If apart, he's granted life, I'll surely take the gray's He's given a moment without my waters at his back And, I simply can't ask for more then that... As usual; lovely poetry, I especially liked ...
