Arise

Do you regret all that you have done?
Or wish to change the song you’ve sung?
And are there times when you wished for more?
Or days when you can’t swim for shore?
We all have times we don’t feel right
When all around seems cursed with blight
Look up my friend help is close at hand
Get off your knees I’ll help you stand

Do you feel that time is running out?
That all your thoughts are clothed in doubt?
Do you ask and never find out why?
Or feel that all your dreams must die?
In times of dark you will need a friend
Someone to stay right to the end
Open your heart and let love shine through
Rise up and hope will come to you

Do you think that life is passing by?
And you don’t know the reason why?
Do your eyes ache with those tears unshed?
Fears run for cover in your head
Sometimes we forget our way back home
And we think we are doomed to roam
Lift up your eyes and see hope is bright
Stand up, walk into sunlight

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Marsha,
Part of a poem:
The path is full of cobblestones
But phantoms ride on greens
And yet the pull of weary bones
Knows nothing of these seems.

You write A* poetry.

BRAVO!!! Oh Marsha, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, may we always walk into His sunlight and find peace and hope within and fear not what tomorrow holds but embrace it with heart! love,
If I could arise as you have done
lift up on wings to draw the sun
If I could have hope the way you do
and offer myself so pure and true
If I could expect the best from life
learn from my sorrow, suff'ring and strive
then I'd be the best that you've ever seen
and still to compete I'd paint myself green.

I love this so much, it is so full of inspiration.
