(I've dreamed of my Joanna so so much lately, who I love with all my heart and we may meet this summer too, which makes me feel so happy and excited that I have thought of her so much and this is one vision I had of her that made me feel so lovesick and happy! I love you Joanna!

Plum Blossoms

There you stand out on the beach of my dreams
Wearing a wool and alpaca cardigan
You kiss the wind
You kiss my heart and I wake again

I watch the wind buffet your shoulders
Revealing your lingerie of grace beneath
You scatter rose petals against the tangerine morning light
Which could smother any winter sky with kisses so lovely

You characterize every orchid and forest of bamboo
Through this crepuscule I wake to the kiss of your eyelashes swoon
Like a betel palm you shake my tambourine
I scream in rapture opening my eyes, knowing there you'll be

These plum blossoms
You plant in my heart
Grow and grow to the sky
As the love that you are
Shedding with flowers all about
Smiling as you hold me close
Reminding me
Of a time
When I wished upon a star

You are like a priceless treasure I found in my hearts desert
Your smiles are engraved in majolica, making my world a dessert
I watch you decorate my windows with curtains of crepe suzette
Every kiss I share with you is like sweet Coeur à la Crème with raspberry coulis

You characterize every orchid and forest of bamboo
Through this crepuscule I wake to the kiss of your eyelashes swoon
Like a betel palm you shake my tambourine
I scream in rapture opening my eyes, knowing there you'll be

These plum blossoms
You plant in my heart
Grow and grow to the sky
As the love that you are
Shedding with flowers all about
Smiling as you hold me close
Reminding me
Of a time
When I wished upon a star

I used to think
That the proper way to play a tambourine
Was to slap it with my palm
Now I've heard your sweet samba
I tap this tambourine gently
And tap it with my magic fingers calm...
Gazing lovesickly in your eyes
As I sing to you...

You characterize every orchid and forest of bamboo
Through this crepuscule I wake to the kiss of your eyelashes swoon
Like a betel palm you shake my tambourine
I scream in rapture opening my eyes, knowing there you'll be
